Overview
The Bachelor in Law is a three-year program designed to train the legal professionals of tomorrow.
It is offered at the Togo campus. It is open to holders of a literary, economics, or science baccalaureate (or equivalent) who are interested in justice, institutions, social relations, human rights, or political life.
Faculty
The teaching team includes legal professionals and experienced teacher-researchers, ensuring rigorous, up-to-date instruction closely aligned with legislative and case-law developments.
Curriculum
This program offers comprehensive training that blends theory and practice across the main legal disciplines: civil law, criminal law, constitutional law, administrative law, and international law, with an introduction to economics and political science. The curriculum is organized around core units essential for mastering legal reasoning: Foundations of Law, Political Institutions, Law of Obligations, Judicial Procedures, and Legal Methodology.
Clinical training
Special emphasis is placed on clinical legal education through the school’s integrated legal clinic. Students work on real legal cases under the supervision of faculty and practitioners, developing concrete skills in legal consulting, case analysis, and drafting legal documents.
Internships
A professional internship is scheduled each year, enabling students to explore various legal environments (courts, law firms, companies, NGOs) and build hands-on experience. Each academic year concludes with an internship report and an oral defense before a jury.
